In Year 9 of High School I chose my GCSE'S which where Health & Social (Doube Award), Textiles and Drama. The mandatory subects I took were Maths, English, Science, P.E, I.T and R.E.

From the moment that I chose my GCSE's I began to study for each topic.

I decided to do my 2 weeks work experience in the reception class of the primary school I went to, Roe Lee Primary. I chose area of work experience because I had always wanted a younger sibling to look afer and grow up wih.

I studied for my GCSE subjects and began them on this date.

Whilst I was still doing my GCSE's I began to look at colleges and coures. I didn't want to travel far from home and was interested in going to Blackburn College so I went to an open day.

I decided to apply for Blackburn College and do a national dimploma in Childcare.

I recieved an AB Double Award in Health & Social Care, B in Mathematics, B in English Literature and Language, Merit in I.T, B in Religious Studies, B in Biology, and C's in Chemistry and Physics.

I enrolled at Blackburn College after recieving acceptance letter and my GCSE results.

After months of studying, I took my BTEC exam which was harder than I thought it was going to be.

I did not pass the exam this time but this was because our tutors and other colleges, which had the same fail rate, thought the grade boundaries were too high.

I resat my exam which I was more confident doing as I was more prepared of the type of questions and how to answer them.

I had passed the exam this time which i was really pleased and happy with.

I decided not to go to University straight after college and take a gap year instead. I will see how I feel about going next year if I haven't already found a job that I want.

I would like to have a job that tnvolves helping children by this time. I would like to see what working in children's hospital would be like.

I would like to consider doing a Criminology course at Blackburn University in hopes of working with the police and with my diploma in childcare i'd like to consulst on child related cases.
