    Brittany Entered the World
    On April 15th, 1997 I was born at Highland County Hospital. I have 2 brothers, Ty and Nathan. My siblings and I are all 5 years apart, with my oldest brother Ty being 30 years old, Nathan being 25, and myself being 20 years old.
  • Diagnosed with JA

    Diagnosed with JA
    When I was in the 5th grade, I started to notice issues with my ankles and my knees. Often times they would swell up, causing pain and not being able to walk. I was diagnosed with Juvenile Arthritis and began taking medication and doing therapy. As time passed, neither my ankles or my knees seemed to bother me anymore.

    Sometime in April of 2008, my grandma bought me a dog, named Jack, in which I could keep at her house since I wasn't allowed to keep pets in my home. This isn't an actual picture of Jack, but this looks similar. I didn't have any of him saved on my new computer.

    In June of 2010, my nephew Braylen was born. He is now 7 years old and loves baseball and basketball. I get more sad everyday that he gets older :(

    Somewhere in the winter of 2013, I began dating my boyfriend Nathan, who is 1 year older than me. He is a senior at Wilmington College and will be graduating with his Business Administration degree. We live together in Sardinia, OH and plan to buy a house together next summer.

    On April 16, 2015 my niece Avery was born, just one day away from being born on my birthday. She just became potty trained, loves to sing nursery rhymes, and count to 15. She is the sweetest :)
  • Graduated High School

    In May of 2015, I graduated from Peebles High School. I was 8th in my class academically, with a GPA of 3.8. While in high school, I was a cheerleader, played softball, and volleyball.
  • Started College at SSCC

    Started College at SSCC
    After I graduated HS, I decided I wanted to go to Southern State Community College for a couple years and start my career in early childhood education. I studied at SSCC for 3 semesters.
  • Started college at SSU

    In the spring semester of 2017, I began school at SSU as a sophomore in the Early Childhood program. During this semester, I decided to switch to the dual major program of Early childhood education and Early childhood intervention.
  • Phonics

    Phonics
    I hope to learn how to help kids understand phonics and how to properly teach phonics to the best of my ability. I am hoping to learn many different strategies to teach phonics and to help kids learn to read independently.
