At birth, I was 19.75" tall, weighing 7 lbs. 6 oz.
-
At just over 7 months, I began crawling
-
At 14 months, I changed from crawling to walking and I haven't looked back since!
-
A month and a half from my second birthday I said my first word, "Dada", which makes sense as everyone in my family seems to think I'm a clone of my father.
-
Just two months after I said my first word, I was permanently potty trained.
-
My first baseball practice was on May 16, 2002, when I was just 4 years old. This began a stretch of 12 straight years devoted to baseball (and school of course).

For a while, my dad had been trying to teach me to read, write, and do basic math. However, I refused to even attempt any sort of learning, and my dad even told my mom "I don't want a stupid kid." Look at me now. Ha.
-
Because my parents had fairly low expectations heading into the first conference with my teacher, they were pleasantly surprised when they found out I was the smartest student in the class. I was already reading at a 4th grade level and writing my name and complete sentences.
-
I didn't learn to tie my own shoes until after my fifth birthday, which I guess is kind of sad. Oh well.
-
Until I was 8, I shunned bikes. I tend to despise activities I'm not good at on my first try. So I gave up trying to ride a bike, but I learned a few months before I turned 9. I never used training wheels and I never owned a tricycle.
-
I sort of taught myself how to develop my own memory. By age 9, I memorized pi to 30 places, and I could look at a deck of cards and recite the order of the cards more often than not. I was bored a lot when I was young.
-
Just weeks after my 13th birthday, I began high school at Franklin Heights. (Technically I started high school the year before, as I took my math class at the high school because it wasn't offered at the middle school, but whatever.)
-
My final baseball game was played on July 26, 2012, concluding my career as a baseball player after 12 years of playing. I still love the game more than most things in the world though.

I'm currently 16, exactly 5 months away from graduation. Hopefully I will be accepted into either New York University or Columbia University and get at least one doctorate. I've matured in 16 years more than most do in their first 30 years, and there are negative and positive aspects to that, I suppose, but maturity will only help me in my future. At least that's what I like to tell myself.
