  • my birth

    It was a wednesday noon, magnificent day to all humankind, I was born.
    my parents are Stephanie Asturias and Jose miguel Orellana, i have two sisters, Gabriela and Natalia.

  • Natalia's birth.

    on the 20th of december, Natalia, my little sister out of two, was born.
  • the great loss

    on the 18th of january of 1996, my father died. i wasnt even 2 years old, never really got to know him, my little sister, never did. she was a month old when this happend. it was a great loss to my mom, that with only 23 years old had to take care of 3 children and herself.
  • first day of school!

    im not exactly sure what date it was so i randomly threw a number there, i just know it was january. i was 3 years old at the time and from what i heard, i used to take my clothes off at school all the time and cry, cause i missed my mom
  • my first cousin

    on that day, my first cousin was born, i wasnt the only male kid around, i had someone to play with that wasnt a girl
  • go, go, power rangers!

    my fifth birthday, power rangers, swords, hitting, kicking, falling. thats all i remember from my fifth birthday, and what i heard. at that time i used to love the power rangers, until i was 9 actually, also pokemon, but that's a whole other story.
  • new country, new beggining.

    on that day my mom, my sisters and I, moved to Ra'anana, Israel, to start a new life.
  • new school...

    new country, new language, new people. i was scared. hebrew is a hard language to learn, and even though i picked it up pretty easy, took a long time to get used to it. Megued that's the name of the school. school was nice, i remember all the teacher took alot of interest in me and supported me all through my first years since i had a hard time with the language.
  • oh my god, a dog!

    after we settled down in Israel, on that day, we got a dog. a white labrador, we called him Dali, for some originality, and because a 7 year old and a 6 year old named him...
  • a real friend.

    on that year, my third year in israel, i met a new guy, Yoad. yoad would become my best friend since then, and even now, that we're half a world apart, hes the guy i can count on whenever i need something, or just when i want to talk about anything; he's my guy.
  • ouch! my leg.

    it was a hot day, spring, everyone was having fun at the park, me especially, i just got a new bike and i was tryingto do new tricks.
    after a while of riding my bike with my friends, we saw a ramp, it wasnt very big, but i remember seeing it as huge. point is, we tried jumping it, someone infront of me fell and i landed on his bike, and somehow, i broke my tibia and perone in 3 places each. it was a slow and painful recovery. but i still got on my bike the day the doctor took the cast off.
  • a genius, really?

    my mom took me a week before to the university of Tel Aviv to get an IQ exam, appereantly i was a young genius, a lot of potencial. i never knew the results of the test untill a couple of years later because i never asked, it never really mattered to me; i am who i am, a paper wasnt gonna change me.
  • back to guatemala

    on this day, we came back to Guatemala. for good. we came back because my mom was having economic problems there and she needed help, my grandfather got her a job here in guatemala and my mom decided it was time to move again. it was a horrible day to me, i remember some sort of pain in my heart, a pain that hasnt healed yet and it might never will. everything i knew, every single memory i had was from Israel, every single friend, they were my family. it was hard for me to leave, but we had to.
  • bar mitzvah

    the bar mitzvah is a sacred jewish act that a boy has to perform when he reaches the age of 13, it involves reading from the torah which is the sacred book for my people, basically is out history and our beliefes.
  • the same grade, again?

    i didnt pass a year, i tbhink mostly because i wanted to go back to israel, i missed everyone. it was a dumb thing to do, and i do regret it
  • a dissapointment to the family

    on that day, my mom got a call and she called me to her room. she told me she was dissapointed in me, not even mad, dissapointed, because i could od much better than that. I got kicked from my old school.
  • KYOOL

    on that day, following a summer of being constantly told i was a dissapointment to my family, i entered "Centro Escolar Kyool". i liked this school, i chose it from many schools. I think what i liked the most was that its small, smaller classes, smaller everything.

    i met alot of friends who are actually worth being kept, not just any type of friends, the friends u can count on forever.

    first time i went to disney world, to orlando actually. actually, first time i remember of... i went once when i was 2 years old, but that doesnt count. i went there with my little sister and my mom. we stayed in orlando for 10 days, had a blast. the parks were great, the hotel was awesome, and just spending some time with my mom and my sister made the trip much better.
