In order for me to be going in the right direction I had to start core classes. When I start my degree in August it will be in person class full time.
-
It will take me approximately 2 years to complete this degree and I can’t wait to get started. I’ll get two Associate degrees one in Airframe and Powerplant. I will have to earn 35.5 credits = 3 semesters. I’m going to study hard and pay attention to detail in class. The test you take the FAA mandates written ,oral, practical, (3) examinations in general, powerplant, and airframe. You must pass all 9 FAA mandated exams within 24 months

Skills I have to have communication, attention to detail stamina, dexterity, teamwork and problem solving which can be learned during an aircraft mechanic program . I already have a lot of these traits however, I will become better at using them when need be.
-
The test is 9 FAA exams and in order to have career in aviation I have to pass all 9.
-
One of my qualifications to pass my test I will have to present a verbal presentation in class.
-
Annual salary for Aviation Mechanics is 42,865 - 72,031. I’m happy with that income however, that will fluctuate due to fact in Alaska where I’ll be moving, the demand for aviation mechanics is a lot higher due to fact there isn’t enough there which is problem due to fact everything is mostly shipped in. There isn’t any real critical changes I need to make except applying myself to my dream.
