My fifth grade teacher Ms. Wood gave me the love of learning. She made reading and math fun to learn. When I think about how her love for her students in making sure they understood the important need for reading, writing, and math it made me what I am today.

When I first went to college I remember how much I loved to learn and how books played an important part of learning. I wanted to be a teacher but changed to Accounting.

1989 My first child was born and I would read to her every night. When she was one I began to teach her the letters. By the time she was two she knew the letters and the sounds. My daughter could read like a 1st grader and would start to read the books to me. When she started kindergarten, the teacher would put in a corner to read while she taught the other children and because of this, she started to pretend she could read.

My second child a son was born and I would read to him so by the time he was three he could read and complete simple addition. My son needed to be challenge so I put my son in private school.

My last child was born and just like the other two she could read and do simple math. She has strived to be the top of her class.

I opened my daycare and because of the love of children, I began to teach my daycare children to read and write and complete simple math. Before long the parents started to tell others how much I worked with their children and my business flourish.

My last child graduated from high school with a 3.4. She has in her first year received her first 4.0 in college.

My first born is now a teacher teaching in the public school system. She has graduated summa cum laude. As you can tell I have so much to be proud of my children.
