conception!!
I was conceived on my mothers 18th birthday. -
prenatal development conception to 8 weeks
first 8 weeks after conception, my basic body structure was forming. Also my major organs and body system began to grow. -
prenatal development 8 weeks to birth
My body organs are developed. Also, my brain begins to have electrical impulses. My brain synapses start to develop in the womb. My personality begins to develop. I begin kicking and clenching my fists. The sounds outside the womb are also heard. -

Mom notices something isnt right....
As i began to stand up on things an began to start walking, my mother noticed that I wasnt walking right, I was walking with a "limp". When my mom looked at my legs side by side straight, my left leg was longer then the other. -
1st surgery
I was taken to the doctors and x rays show that I was actually born with hip dysplasia, where my hip was out of socket. They had to repair my hip and place it where it is suppose to be. I was in a body cast for about 4 months after the surgery. -
The first two years: biosocial development
My newborn body began to change into a more toddler looking body. brain begins to develop more an more. Im begining to pick up motor skills such as crawling, ans scootiing. -
cognitive development in the first two years
I begin to communicate. My babling a cooing turn into a few words, I still cry and am not in total control of my emotions. -
psychcosocial development first two years
I begin to feel uilt, pride, embarressmentnew emotions like, guilt, pride, embarressment, even though I may not always know how to control these emotions yet. I begin to feel empathy and attatchment towards others. -
My parents get married

Play years Biosocial development
My body begins t o get slimmer and more muscular. I began to understand feelingd snd emotions. I begin to understand impulse control. My motort skills like runngin, jumping and skipping develop, also my fine motor skills like eating and putting on clothes. -
Play years Cognitive development
My brain begins to develop faster then anything else. I know my numbers, memory skills and language skills, as wellas problem solving skills improve rapidly. -
The play years psychosocial development
I begin to engage in complex imaginative play. I can accept shared attention. I am afraid of disappointment. I begin to build friendships and play become cooperative and constructive. -
my parents divorce

My mother begins dating again
This area of my life was pretty hard to get used to at first. My mom was a young mom, divorced with teo kids. She sometimes lived her young days while my sister and I stayed weekends at my grandparents house. -
My mom met a man and steady datinghim

my mom got re-married
After only a few months of dating, my mom got married to a man anmed Gary. -
Ups and downs
We moved many many times in the next few years. My step father began to get abusive first with my mother, then with us kids. He began drinking and doing drugs. -
moving up north
We ended up moving up north, 5 hours away from everybody I have ever known. I didnt like the idea because I knew my step father was a bad guy and at that point I didnt have anywhere to go besides my house. -
depression
With the abuse going on, and no real way of stopping it ( I began to become depressed. It was a huge burden to have on my soulders as a young child. Anytime away from home I thrived. I loved school and was always good at it and always had many friends. -
My mom divorces...again
My mom finally had enough courage to leave her husband, I dont blame her, it was hard to do, I know, I lived it too. -
my step dad passes
Not long after my mom divorced my step dad, he took his own life. -
started high school!
Starting highschool was a big turning point. It was a few years of straight experimenting. I began smoking ciggerettes, drinking and smoking weed. I started skipping class also. -
I can drive!!
I got my drivers lisence. My grandparents bought me my first car. I was very blessed to have them in my life! I wouldnt be who i am today without them. -
met the man of my dreams
I met Tory when i was 17 years old. He changed my life fopr the better. I didnt skip school as much, or drink or smoke because he didnt do anything like that. You become what you surround yourself around, Ive come to find out. -
graduated!!
I was able to graduate highschool on time with my class. I had alot of making up to do after slacking off for so long, but alot of work, I made it and graduated! -
Career??
Right after high school. I enrolled in a tech school and recieved my medical assisting certification. -
start of my career
I began my first job as a medical assistant at a pediatric office. This opened dorrs for me and made me realize this is what i wanted to do with my life, the medical field. -
on my own!
tory and I got an apartment together. I was on my own for the first time. -
oops!
I found out i was pregnant!!!! -
its a girl!!
Our daughter Victoria was born on Nov 24th 2007 -
new job
a few weeks after i had my daughter, I got a job offer ar an urgent care center. I had to go back to work right after. -
movin on up
I was offered another position at a respectable healthcare system and couldnt refuse the offer. I began there and stayed there for 2 years. -

I was offered another position at another very good health system, only this time, it was a hospital position, with better benifits and hours. -
returning to school
I knew i wanted to further my career after entering the hospital job. I wanted to become a nurse. I enrolled in schoolcraft and began my pre req classes. -
acceptted to nursing school!
