My Birth
When I was born to the world, I was conscious and confused what was going on. The darkness that I saw was gone, and all I saw was bright light shining in my eyes. I don't remember seeing anyone else, but I felt a present nearby. My mind was empty and, the only thing that I can do was cry. After that, a man wrapped me in a blanket and put me next to a woman. The next moment, I was carried out of the building and inside a new one. Where I was fast asleep in my warm blanket. -
First Day in Kindergarten
Today is my first day in Kindergarten in P.S.130. My heart was pumping rapidly, and I couldn't stop shaking my legs. It was my first time going to school. I never went to preschool or got the chance to experience it. The teacher walked in the classroom and introduced herself. She was a nice lady that spoke both spanish and english. The bell rang and it was time for lunch. I was able to make friends easily in the lunchroom and went outside for recess. School was over and I had good day at school. -
Disney World
My family's trip to Disney world was amazing and magical.Throughout the trip, we visited all the four theme parks and got to ride most of the rollercoasters.It was my first time riding a rollercoaster and staying in a hotel.My favorite theme park was the Magic Kingdom Park and Epcot.I enjoyed eating the turkey leg that was selling around the park.The turkey leg was jumbo size and I couldn't stop eating it.We took many pictures with different disney characters and saw the fireworks at night. -
Lost in the Rockefeller Center
The Christmas tree looks beautiful than on tv.The place was crowded with people,and we stood next to a store.While we were waiting, I was watching a random commercial from the store. When I looked back,I realized that my family was gone.I started to panic and went around in circle.I didn't know what to do until a lady helped me.She started calling my parent's number and took me to the police.My family went back, found me and was worried.I look back, the lady was gone and I couldn't thank her. -
Dominican Republic
Over the summer,my family and I went to Dominican Republic to visit my grandparent and my cousin.My grandparent live in the capital,which is in Santo Domingo.Santo Domingo is best known for the beaches and the statue of Santa Maria.My family and I went to see the statue and it looks beautiful.Then I went to beaches like the Bahia de las Aguilas and Juan Dolio.We also celebrate my sister's birthday and got her a huge cake.I'm glad that I came to the Dominican Republic and visit my grandparent. -
Karate Class
My dad decide to take my brother,sister,and I to a karate class.We went inside the dojo and look inside.My dad wanted all of us to join the class,but I was only one who join.At first I thought it be fun to join the class,however I got lazy and annoy of doing the same stances.I wanted to quit the class,but didn't what to tell my dad.My dad eventually found out about it,and told me that I didn't have to take the class no more.I was excited about it, but now when I look at uniform, I feel regret. -
Moving to Brewster
My parent told me that we were moving to Brewster.I was disappointed to hear that news.The high school where wanted to go is now outta my reach, and I had to say goodbye to my friends.When I got to Brewster, I realized that there were no sidewalks to walk.The house looks great, however I was going to do a lot of chores around the house.I didn't know how deal with it. Instead of being negative, I decide to look at the bright side.Then I realized that Brewster was quiet and I could see the stars. -
First Day in High School
My first day of school is here, and I was very anxious.I never went on the school bus before or seen my school yet.When I arrived to school,I already got lost finding my classroom and don't understand some of my classes.I was alone in lunch and standing next to a vending machine.Some teachesr would pass by and talk to me.Then I notice one my classmate,and I decide to talk to him.He invited to his table and introduced me to his friends.I became their friends too and gain confidence on myself. -
Getting a Dog
When my dad arrived home, he had a dog with him .My brother and sister was excited while I was surprised that he bought a dog. My dog is a labradoodle retriever, and he was about 6 months old.My dad called him Ronnie and put him in the kitchen. The next day, I came home from school and saw that my dog pooped in his cage.I told my sister to take care of the job but she refused to do it. I ended up doing the job and complained about it.Later on, I'm always glad to see my dog from school. -
Driver Ed
When I got my permit,I decide to take driver ed over the summer.My parent wasn't going to help me how to drive,and it also helps lower my car insurance.I had a stupendous instructor,and he was able to teach me parallel parking,broken u-turns,and right away.Each day,my driving skills got better,and I sometimes practice at home with my dad.The only problem was that I didn't always have a ride to driver ed.Sometimes I had to walk home to driver ed.It was horrible and at sometimes it was worth it.
