    Egypt and Syria launched a surprise attack against Israel. With the help of the U.S., Israel was able to push back Egyptian and Syrian armies. After, weeks of fighting both agreed to cease-fire.

    The Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) pledged to destroy Israel and make it a Palestine state. PLO launched guerrilla attacks on Israel from Jordan and Lebanon.

    War began once Arabs launched missiles into Israel. Soldiers were kidnapped and killed. Israel reacted by launching massive air strikes into Gaza and Southern Lebanon.
