    Prime Minister Ariel Sharon disengages from Gaza strip by withdrawing the military and other troops, giving the land to the Palestinians. The Prime Minister's act of disengagement was criticised. Israeli people who lived in Gaza did not want to leave, and Israelis of West Bank supported those other Israelis. Palestinians also did not like the Prime Minister's decision because the action was not made with negotiations with Palestine. Tension had increased dramatically.
