    Between the years of 1948 and 1955, numerous complaints were made by Israel about the many Arab troops that kept infiltrating and crossing into Israel territory. During these troubling times, hundreds of Israel civilians were killed, raped, and mutilated while thousands of Arab infiltrators were killed.

    1967 - Six-Day War
    The Six-Day War was a result of Egyptian troops taking over territories that bordered Israel and one such territory that blocked Israel's route to the Red Sea. This series of actions led Israel to believe that they were going to be met with a large-scale Arab attack. This in turn caused Israel to launch an air strike onto Egypt, Syria, and Jordan, and the start of the Six-Day War. In the end, Israel to control of five different territories.

    After losing their territory, Egypt and Syria were determined to take it back by launching a surprise attack against Israel. During the beginning of the war, Israeli was gaining some ground, but the nation's government was not at all prepared for an attack and was in desperate need of US support. With their support, Israel troops were able to push back Egypt and Syria. In the end, both sides agreed to cease-fire and with the help US president Jimmy Carter, the leaders of both sides made peace.

    1960s-2000s - The Palestinian Problem
    As Egypt and Israel were making peace, Palestine in the struggle of nationhood. Enraged that Israel was supposed to be a two Palestinian states of Jews and Arabs, they formed the PLO in commitment of destroying Israel and creating a Palestinian state in its place. Palestine launched attacks on Israel for years, until the early 90s. In 2000, Israel was faced by suicide bombers for a long time and countered with their troops. In 2006, Hamas, a terrorist group, gained control of Palestine.
