    1948 War
    Israel dclared independence. Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, and Iraq attacked Israel. The outcome was that Israel gained land. Also, Egypt gained the Gaza Strip and Jordan gained the West Bank and East Jerusalem. Hundreds of thousands of Palestinians and Jews became refugees.

    Settlement Construction began and were built by labour government in order to secure the Jews. The outcome was that settlement construction began and there are now 300,000 settlers in the West Bank.
  • SIx Day War

    SIx Day War
    Egypt blockaded Israel. Egypt, Jordan, Syria and Iraq moved troops to Israel's borders and made threatening statements. Israel launhed a preemptive strike. The outcome was that Israel captured the West Bank and East Jerusalem from Jordan, the Golan Heights from Syria, and the Gaza Strip from all of the Sinai peninsula from Egypt. More Palestinians and Jews became refugees and terrorism became more common.

    Israel attacked Lebanon and Lebanon attacked Israel back. The outcome was that Israel stopped attacking Lebanon and more terrorist attacks led to the next Lebanon War.

    The Oslo Accords were a set of agreements between Israel and the PLO (Palestinian Liberation Organization). The Oslo Accords led to the creation of the Palestinian authority that administered its territory.

    Jordan was the second country to recognize Israel with the help of the Unitd States. After the treaty was signed, trade, tourism , scientific coopertion, etc. increased since the agreement.

    The Roadmap was divided into into 3 phases but it was never able to get past the first phase. The outcome was the negotiations between Israel and Palestine became possible when the President of Palestine got rid of the government controlled by Hamas.

    The Prime Minister moved ahead with the separation of Israel from Palestinian territories. The people of Israel did not want to leave the Gaza Strip but the Prime Minister went ahead with his plan anyways.

    Because of the conflict between hamas and the PLO Fatah, Hamas attacked people in Gaza. The outcome of this Battle of Gaza was that Hamas controled Gaza and the Palestinians the West Bank.
