    John (Dad); He is very quiet but also very kind, loves his job as a paramedic, likes to fix computers. Christine (Mom): She is very caring and hardworking, loves games and sports and is really outgoing. Zach (Brother): 6"5', likes to keep to himself, future of going into the Navy. Shawn (Uncle): Very funny and outgoing, loves to help people out, always is driving his four-wheeler around with his group of friends.

    Time when a family member greatly disappointed me
    My brother would bully me when he got angry, he took out all of his frustrations on me. This disappointed me so whenever I knew he was angry I would just leave. I grew from this experience because it taught me not to take out my anger on other people.

    Event that made me feel loved for the first time
    I felt loved for the first time as a child when I got my first pet. It was a Prembroke Corgi named Foxy. She would follow me everywhere and sleep with me, so I knew she loved me. Foxy would also whine when I left the house so I knew she missed me, which also showed that she loved me.

    Three defining moments
    The death of my dog, the death of my grandma, and my brother moving out were three defining moments in my childhood. These events helped me mature and grow because I learned from watching my dog and grandma suffer from not living a healthy life that it is important to be healthy and to help those around you be healthy as well. My brother moving out helped me grow to fill the shoes that he left, taking on more responsibility and being held accountable for more things.

    How did your parents handle money
    My mom is in charge of the money in my house because my dad didnt know how to handle it like she did. My mom likes to budget the money that comes in, or save it for something special while my dad likes to spend it a lot. They argue over money when my dad buys something that my mom see's as being too expensive.

    Describe your most memorable accomplishment
    My most memorable accomplishment was going to school every day and not recieving a yellow or red card for any of the days. You had to flip a card if your behavior was bad, and I never had to do this.

    How did your parents handle conflict
    My parents handle conflict by yelling at each other and finding anything possible to prove themselves right. After a while my mom would leave the house to get her space and when she returns, her and my dad dont talk for a couple of days. My dad would just go to the bedroom, close the door, and watch television.

    What did happiness look like for you during your childhood
    During my childhood happiness looked like being with my family on vacation in Florida. Those trips brought us closer as a family and we did a lot of fun things together that made great memories.

    What role did morality play in your childhood
    Growing up my parents taught me the strict guidelines between right and wrong. If I crossed the line to wrong then I was punished, and when I was doing something morally right I was awarded. This consistence allowed me to learn the rules and follow them up to the way I live today.

    If I could change one thing about my childhood, I would change the way that I treated my brother. I would have picked less fights with him and not blame him for as much stuff that I did.

    What did activities contribute to your personality
    Playing soccer and basketball helped contribute to my personality because they helped me be a team player and encouraged me to always do my best in everything i do. I felt accepted by the other girls who also played these sports. Everyone was very encouraging and helped me grow in my skills and personality.

    What event made you feel loved for the first time
    My friend made me feel loved for the first time because she always cared about what was happening in my life, and was always there for me no matter what. She also made me feel wanted and not so alone. She was my friend from birth all the way up to high school and we rarely faught. We always had each others backs in every situation.

    Who has been the most influential person in your high school career
    My mom has been the most influential person during high school because she fully supports me in everything I do, and makes sure I have everything I need. She is a hardworking woman and is a good provider for my family. She is also very sweet and caring.

    How do you handle conflict with your peers
    I handle conflict with my peers by confronting them as soon as possible so that the conflict doesnt become bigger than it already is. I handle conflict with my parents by just agreeing with whatever they have to say to just please them. That way I never have to really get in a fight with them.

    What do you spend the most money on
    I spend the most money on gas for my car. Generally I like to save as much money as I possibly can but sometimes it doesnt work out too well if I see something that I really, really want. Most of the money I make is from babysitting my neighbors kids or from doing chores around my house, and getting good grades.

    Describe your most memorable accomplishment
    My most memorable accomplishment was recieving my CNA license by taking and passing the CNA course at PCC. Along with passing the class, I also passed State Boards, and my clinical.

    What does happiness look like for you in high school
    Happiness in high school is being able to talk to my friends and be involved in the basketball and soccer programs. It was also meeting new people and starting new relationships.

    What are your plans for after graduation
    After graduation I want to go to college and get my bachelors degree in nursing so that one day I can work my way up to becoming a Neonatal Nurse.

    Did you learn anything from marriages around you
    I have learned from the couples around me that you should choose a spouce who is always going to make you happy. I have also learned that I do not ever want to get a divorce because it hurts the people around you more than you think.

    I would like to get married when the time seems right. My husband must be a hardworker, sensible, funny, and have good morals.

    Where do you want to live when you move out on your own
    When I move out of town I either want to live in Durango or Vail. I definitely do not want to leave Colorado. I want to live in Durango or Vail because they arent too big of towns. Some criteria of the location would be that my house has to be in a safe neighborhood.

    I want to get married and have two children. I want to live fairly close to my extended family so that they can be a part of my childrens lives.

    If you have children what are the top five life lessons you would try to build into their characteristics
    The top lessons I would teach my children are morality, hard work, compassion, and respect. I want my children to be happy, and I want to be able to provide them with everything they need to be successful in life. I would not be as strict to them as my parents were on me.

    I see myself working as a neonatal nurse or a RN. I will have my family close and will still be happily married. I would like to be living in the house that I want to die in, and have a car that will get me through until I can no longer drive.

    I would want to be living with my own family in Colorado. We would have a fairly nice mountain house and would have a four-door jeep. My family would backpack and hike together all the time, and we would try to take a nice vacation together every summer.

    Describe what happiness in midlife through retirement would look like for you
    Happiness in midlife through retirement would be doing the things I love and having a loving and supporting family. I would also know that I have done everything to make my life how I wanted it, and I accomplished all the goals I had in life.

    How old do you want to live and why
    I want to live until the age of 75 because that will be long enough to have some time with my grandchildren, but not enough time to be suffering from old age. I dont want to live to the point where other people are having to take care of me because that would be troture to me. I am a very independent in this way.
