  • Birth

    I was born. This is the only moment I remember any affection from my parents.
  • Second birthday - Puppy!

    For my second birthday, I got my first puppy. Her name was Bubba.
  • Two years old - Mean Parents

    My parents told me Bubba died. I think they just didn't want to take care of her any more.
  • 4 years old - Sadness

    My parents look at me like I'm a disappointment to them as I sit in my broken playpen.
  • Six years old - Independence

    I began walking to school alone. My parents began leaving for two weeks at a time, then would come home for a week.
  • Eight years old - Groceries

    My aunt grew old and could not get groceries for me anymore. I had to take the money she and my parents would send me each month, about $150, and get groceries myself.
  • 10 years old - New Year's

    I celebrated Christmas and the New Year- 2000, alone.
  • 11th birthday - Present

    My 11th birthday was the last time my parents ever got me a present. It was a gift card- $5 for the dollar shop..
  • 12 years old - Switched schools

    I had to switch schools by myself. Everyone at the old school was torturing me everyday.
  • 13 years old - Alone

    My parents started going away for months at a time, which they did until I moved out. I'd only see them for less than five minutes on the first day of every month.
  • 14 years old - Hurt

    I broke my leg by falling down the stairs and was bounded to a wheelchair. The doctors could never fix it. They said it would heal on its own.
  • 15 years old - Working

    When I was 15, I began animal sitting.
  • 17 years old - Car

    I bought my first car for myself on my 17th birthday. It was nowhere near new, but it looked great. It costed me about $3,000.
  • 17 years old - Graduated HS

    When I was in my eleventh year of high school, I had past enough credits, so I graduated.
  • 18 years old - Life changed

    I went into college. It was a whole different experience. I had many friends, and it was fun.
  • 18 years old - Met Chester Gobbings

    I met Chester Gobbings by running into him in the second floor hallway. We became buddies.
  • 19 years old - Inseparable

    Chester and I became inseparable. He changed the classes that he didn't have with me, so that all of our classes were together.
  • 20 years old - Gone

    Chester disappeared. When I asked people if they knew where he was, they acted as if they didn't know who he was. Even teachers would be confused by my questions.
  • 21 years old - Graduated

    On the 13th of May in 2011, I graduated from college with a bachelor's degree.
  • 22 years old - Where's Chester?

    I moved back home in June. In July I began receiving weird notes and things. The first one was from Chester, saying how he was hurt and needed help, He gave me an address that was far away.
  • 23 years old - Search

    After receiving many 'I'm in very bad danger' notes from Chester, I went to America to look for him.
  • 26 years old - No hope

    After going to America, I found nothing. I still got notes no matter where I was. I looked as long as I could, but I eventually had to go back home. The maids couldn't take care of my animals anymore. Today, I still get notes. I ignore them.
