I Became a Big Sister!! (:
The birth of my younger brother is an important event in my life because the birth of my baby brother brought forth happiness and warmth as well as unity to my family. For quite some time my parent's relationship was strained and my younger brother united everyone single member of the family together. Since the first day I saw him smile, I fell in love with him whilst he taught me what it meant to love. -
I Became an Auntie! (:
When I first received knowledge that my older sister Merly was pregnant, I was bouncing off the walls with joy at the news that I would be an aunt. I was able to attain a very unique relationship with my niece, so much that I'm almost like her second mother. She lifts my sorrows when I break down and without her I feel like I float in toxic air. Most of all, I love my niece because she is a part of me that acknowledges how worthy I truly am. -
A Split....
When my parents divorced, I experienced much confusion and distress. I suffered extensively and was affected majorly because I was torn apart by choosing sides. The effects damaged me and my siblings physically as well as psychologically. -
A Forever Kind of Bond
In between the wretchedness that floated around my existence, I was able to find merriment when I met my friend Marylou Echevarria. For that reason I hold our relationship close at heart and I treasure the day we met as a significant moment in my life. Because of her, I was able to cope with many struggles that I encountered within and outside my home. -
The Rollercoaster Falls, The Screams Begin
Due to my parent's divorce, I developed a mental state of ruin and when my father was taken into custody, all of me was demolished. This point in my life is significant because I grew hatred for not only my surroundings but for myself. I was a juvenile, confused girl and this event marked the commencement to the downfall of the next three years. -
The Joy of Friends
When I met my friend Angelique Khader, I was involved in various things that disrupted my health, education, and overall well-being. Our friendship helped me learn that there was more to life and I would always be able to look upon her for help. She also helped me cope with difficulties I faced and we built a strong relationship upon that. -
New Experience
The first day of high was an important day in my life because it was a whole new experience for me. I struggled for a long time and thus I began performing fugitive behaviors. I met new people and I had an intensive realization that I was maturing. -
New State, New Life
When I first moved to Arizona with my older sister, all I worried about was the distance that kept me and my friends apart. I couldn't help but think that an immense, antagonizing wall was placed between me and what I knew. Conversely, moving to Arizona proved most helpful and it gave me the opporutnity to discover my full potential. I developed hobbies such as reading, drawing, painting, baking, jogging, and playing sports. In other words, I began to care for myself again. -
Auntie For The Second Time
My older sister Wendey Gutierrez is the other half of me. She is only two years older than me and we were extremely close . When she had my baby nephew, I was not there and I still have not met him to this day. His birth is an important event in my life because he reminds me of the love we share. Also his well-being is one of the reasons whyI try so hard to become someone successful. -
I Became a Primavera Student! :)
Primavera has been by far the best school I have ever attended. I am pleased to be in this school because I have gained so much knowledge about so many topics that I struggled focusing on in regular public school. I can concentrate easily and I actually read and comprehend the work I am assigned, with real interest. Since I entered Primavera Online High School, I have recieved outstanding grades and I gained the faith and confidence to attend a good college after high school.
