I started taking piano lessons with Ms. Northcut.
My Grams always wanted to play the piano as a child & didn't have the opputunity, so she also learned when she started taking me to my lessons. - I started piano just as I was beginning to get a good grip on my fine motor development. Also, starting piano enhanced the progress of it. -
My dad came home after he was caught being unfaithful.
This is the most distinct & oldest memory in my mind. I remember where they stood in the living room. I remember how close their faces were when they were fighting. & I remember him walking out & me following after him. - I was in the middle of social development when this happened. -
I played my first concert.
I was 6 years old. My piano teacher told me that me along with several other of her students were playing a solo as an addition to Stef Scaggari's own concert. [Stef is a famous pianist/composer that has also taken lessons from my teacher]. After the concert, come to find, I was the only one who has performed out of Ms. Northcuts students! They just told me the fib to boost my confidence. - At this concert, I had a high level of self-esteem because I thought that I wasn't the only one playing. -
My Sister got married to Steve.
It was the 1st time I had visited Florida, & it was in Tampa Bay. Their wedding was just them, & their immediate family. It was at sunset on the beach. - -
My last dance recital was canceled last minute.
I started taking dance classes when I was 4. I took tap, ballet, & jazz. The night of my last recital was the night before I left for my first trip to Arizona. We had to leave around 4 in the morning to make it to the airport. - I had secure effects of attachment because I was put into so many activities starting out so young. My Grams always supported what I wanted to do & even paid for every lesson & equipment I needed since money was tight with my mother. -
I went to the Grand Canyon for the 1st time.
My Grams' best friend Tudor lives in Tuscon, Arizona. & we went on a road trip to the Grand Canyon among other tourist things. - I was in the middle of my concrete-operational stage of development because I was just starting to get old enough to appreciate the beauty & the history behind the Grand Canyon. -
My first kiss.
It was a day before my birthday. We went to the movies to see Spider Man 3 & when the credits came on, he made the first move. But I had gotten my braces on two days before hand... & cut his lip with them. - I had dated Kyle for three months leading up to this day. He was my first boyfriend. -
My Grandpa passed away.
That summer before 8th grade, my Grandpa was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. It is the fastest over-coming cancer there is, which in a way is good, because he wasn't in pain for very long. -
I went to my first concert.
The concert was at Robert's Stadium. I went with my Mom to see Breaking Benjamin, Three Days Grace, & Saving Able. -

I started high school at Bosse.
I remember my first day of school whenever I had to ride the bus there. I was pulling up to the school, & I was getting the aura of a migraine. Whenever I went upstairs to find my locker, I had to ask a link leader where it was & couldn't even talk without sluring & almost falling over. - -
My Sissy moved back home after 12 years!
My Sissy moved out to college when I was four, so when she came back home, it was definitly nice to have a relationship with her. Before, I was lucky to see her a week out of every year. - -
I got my first car!
My first car is a used '03 Saturn Ion. It was quite the lengthy & painful process. My Mother gave the car dealer such a hard time. I was losing hope & at that point didn't even care what my car was. Until we went back to "look at the other cars they had" & I pull up with my Mom to that same car with a big red bow on it! - When I got my car, my Mom was very warm. She did everything she could to find the best car she could within our budget. After which was followed by many rules & restrictions.
