My Timeline

    Date of Birth
This was the day when I was brought into this world. I was the second child of my parents. On June 1st, 1995, I was born at a small hospital in Calgary, right after my family had just immigrated to Canada and this day marked the beginning of my life. Without this day, all of my other important moments would never have happened.

  • My First Steps

    My First Steps
Ever since I was 9 months old, I was attempting to walk on my feet. I kept falling every time and after countless tries, my parents predicted that I would not be able to start walking until I was 2 years old, but on August 5th, 1996, I pushed off the floor and suddenly began walking. This date was important in shaping my life because it showed how hard I tried to stand up and walk on my feet.
  • Potty Training

    Potty Training
Ever since I was born, I had been using diapers because I was not potty trained yet. One day, my mother decided to potty train me and I was 2 years old when I started this trianing. I did not remember any of this, but my mom said that it took me only one week to stop using diapers completely and switch to a toilet. This milestone made me realize that I was able to learn things very quickly, giving me more confidence to try new things.
  • Swimming Classes

    Swimming Classes
This day was very tragic for me because of how horrifying I thought it was. I had just turned 4 two weeks ago and my mom or dad wanted me to start swimming classes early. They took me there for my first day and left me to the teacher as they went back to watch me from far away. I was very shy because I did not know any english so the teacher splashed water at me and I started crying. This event was negative for me because it made me more afraid of learning.
  • First Day of School

    First Day of School
My first day of school was really scary for me at the time because all my life, I was in the protection of my parents and I went everywhere with them, but all of a sudden, when I was 4 years old, I had to go to something called "school" where I would be taught many things, but I did not want to leave my parents. When it was time for me to go to school, my mom took the whole day off of work to stay with me at school.

    First Day of School (continued)
My first school was called Crestview Public School. This date was an important event in shaping my personality because it showed how I needed my parents to be there for me, watching over what I do, but I also have to be independant. Also, this day marked the beginning of my continuing education that made me the smart child that I am today.
  • The Day I Moved

    The Day I Moved
Everything was pretty good up until this day. My parents had told me that we were moving to a new house on the day before we moved and this meant that I had to change schools as well. I was very shocked to hear this and I suddenly started crying because I had to leave all of my friends that I had at school. After the move though, I went to a new school called Lincoln Alexander Public School and met new friends that would be with me for a long time, learning that change could be a good thing.
  • Meeting Jonathan Choy

    Meeting Jonathan Choy
At school, my class had a project and we had to pick a partner to pretend to interview a famous person from the past. My other friends were all paired up already so I had to look for a partner quickly. Then, I saw this kid that was still sitting down and I went to him to ask him if he wanted to be my partner. That kid was called Jonathan Choy. This was very important for me because we ended up being best friends, along with the rest of our group and through the years, I became more outgoing.
  • Lying is bad

    Lying is bad
I was quite a bad lier back then, but I used it almost every day as an excuse to get out of something. On February 4th, 2007, I had to give in a project, but I was not finished so I told my teacher the oldest trick in the book, "my dog ate it". I never even had a dog before and the teacher could tell that I was lying so she called my parents and I got in big trouble. I would say that I learned something good from this and it is that if I have to lie, I should do it properly.
  • Highschool

    Highschool
I was so nervous for highschool because I had to change schools and I had new courses like business. It was not the bad kind of nervous though because I actually wanted to go to highschool. I had heard so many good things about it from my brother so that made me want to go to it more. When I started high school, there were so many old and new faces. I actually did not think that this day was important at the time, but it is because this is the place where I would shape my future self in,
