Fifth Grade Recognition
From the start of June third I knew it was going to be a fun day, Fifth Grade Recognition. First the whole fifth grade received a certificate that said they passed the grade. Later, we watched a PowerPoint where we could guess which baby picture was which fifth grader. After the ceremony, Parents and Graduates were invited to get cake and other desserts. From the begging until the end Fifth Grade Recognition was awesome! -
Niagara Falls
Last summer my family, some of my cousins and I went to Niagara Falls. First, we rode a boat called maid of the mist. The boat took passengers very close to the Falls. Next, everyone except some of my younger cousins walked up to the Hurricane Deck at Cave of the Winds. Our final activity was the Niagara Falls movie. The movie went over 12,000 years in only 30 minutes! It was very exciting. To sum it up, Niagara Falls was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. -
Kuchta Campout
Every year my family plans a campout called the Kuchta Campout. This is where all of my Kuchta side of the family gets together and camps-out somewhere. This year, the camp we were at had huge blow up balloons that were very fun to play with in the water. We also put Mentos on Diet Pepsi. Finally, at the end of the day, my family all gathered around the campfire and we roasted marshmallows. Even though it may have been a rainy weekend, the Kuchta Campout was a lot of fun. -
Labor Day Weekend
A few weeks ago it was Labor Day weekend and it was a busy for me. First, on Friday night my Aunt Linda, her son, his wife, and their kids came up from Kentucky and we met them at Mickey Lou’s. On Saturday I went to my Johnson side of the family and shot a gun for the first time. Then, the next afternoon I went to my Uncle Tom’s camp for a Family Reunion with all my Kuchta side of the family. This past Labor Day weekend was the best because I got to spend time with both sides of my family.
