  • Biosocial: Could move my head and recognize my mom and dad

  • Biosocial: I could sit and could somewhat crowl.

  • I could move my head to indicate few basic commands. I could also get my mother's attention by babbling.

  • Cognitive: I could throw a temper tantrum and get into play fights with my sister.

  • Psychosoial: First Birthday, I could get into fights with my sister consistantly by now.

  • Cognitive, Psychosocial: I could start mumbling my favorate TV show tune by now.

  • Biosocial, Cognitive: I could scribble with a pen and play with my sister along with toys.

    The Play Years

  • Started Pre-school with my sister. It was for 5 days a week for 4 hours. I remember playing and arrainging toys.

  • Biosocial: I could draw simple shapes by now. I was also practising to write my language's "A" by now.

  • Psychosocial: I had best friends by now.

  • Psychosocial: I could sing and I participated in my first school play by now.

  • Psychosocial, Cognitive: Started Kindergarten.

  • Biosocial, Psychosocial: Could tie my shoes by now and play in a group setting by now.

    Late Childhood: The Discovery years

  • Psychosocial, Cognitive: Started First Grade

  • Psychosocial: I could get into many conversation with my family and sister. I could say many things in my native language of Gujarati and say many things in Hindi.

  • Psychosocial: I was part of little girls' soccer team by now.

  • I c ould do basic level math with numbers under 10 by now.

  • Psychosocial: My sister and I were part of little children's dance group.

  • Biosocial, Psychosocial: Fell off a bicycle. Had to have a cast put on my leg.

    Early Adolescence

  • I could say chants at our local temple learned from Sunday school. I could also recite several poems learned from my school.

  • Cognitive, Psychosocial: I played a good game of chess with my sister by now. I was also playing Tic Tac Toe types of games by now.

  • Biosocial: I had gained significant muscle strength and weight by now since I was active in sports and dancing.

  • Psychosocial: Started Middle School.

    Pre-Puberty to Post-Puberty year: A time of great change and accomplishment

  • Psychosocial: Went to a trip in New Delhi

    First Time my parents allowed me to be on my own.

  • Psychosocial: Bought Saris, Jeans and other cloaths for myself and sister. My parents were not happy with some of the choices but back then it was the "hip" thing to do.

  • Psychosocial: I won the award for academic excellance at school.

  • Psychosocial: Started High School

  • Psychosocial: I got new bike gifted by my parents

  • Biosocial, Psychosocial: Had a major hair style change. My parents did not like the short hair but I liked them. My sister chose to not cut her hair the same way.

    Early adulthood to mid adulthood.

  • Biosocial, Psychosocial: I was in a dance show with my best friends.

    By now I had good set of friends with whom I hung out with most of time. My sister had her own set of friends. Surprising factor was that we were twins, went to same school and lived in the same house but we had different set of friends.

  • Psychosocial: I got award for my good academic by the hand of city Mayor

  • Psychosocial: Graduated from high school

  • Psychosocial: I was working for the first time in my life. I was in charge of customer service at a small telecom service provider agency.

  • I was promoted to supervisor position and given additional responsibilites at my work.

  • Psychosocial: First time in life I flew in airplane

  • Psychosocial: Graduated from College with Bachelors in Electrical Engineering

  • Psychosocial: I was working full time as a Teaching Assistant and Junior Lecturer at a local university.

  • Psychosocial: With my all family member, we visited north India

  • Psychosocial, Cognitive: Moved to US to be with my fiance.

  • Got married!

  • Psychosocial, Biosocial: Went to Las Vegas for Honeymoon

  • Psychosocial: My first visit to NY to see my sister and relatives

  • Psychosocial: I was seeing my future husband by now and got engaged with him on this date.

  • Psychosocial: we went to NY for my sister's graduation ceremony

  • Psychosocial: I and my husband went to attend my cousin brother's wedding
