  • Foster care

    When i was four years old my sibling and i were sent to foster due to complications with the law and my mother. We only stayed for a year because my mom had to get back on track. When she finally got her self together we were able to move back with her. Still to this day we keep in touch with our old foster parents.
  • Moving to Arkansas

    I moved to Arkansas when i was in first grade. My mom wanted to visit her dads side old the family so we decided to stay. sometimes we still visit Milwaukee. Moving form Milwaukee was a big change because, i was used to the people there but there was too much violence for us to stay.
  • My Legal Guardian

    When my sister turned 21 she was able to get custody of me with permission from my mom. The reason we decided to make that huge decision is because my mom couldn't handle all 10 of her kids while dealing with the death or her dad. My sister is still my legal guardian but i am currently living with my mom.
  • Diagnosed with Diabetes

    When i was eleven i was diagnosed with type one diabetes. Having diabetes changed my life in a good and bad way. It was hard having to deal with it at such a young age but i got through it. now i am having a much easier time managing it since I've grown and learned to understand.
  • Varsity Volleyball

    My freshman year i started playing varsity volleyball. it was a big deal because usually you don't start util 10th grade or eleventh grade. i was very nervous the first time because i was the only "little kid" there. that day i realized it doesn't matter how small or old you are its about what you can do
