    Baptism
    I received my holy Baptism on April 18th, 2010 at my community church. Father Stefano Penna was the priest and my godparents were John and Monika.
  • My first day of kindergarten

    My first day of kindergarten
    I was so excited to go to my first day in kindergarten. At the same time, I was sad because my bigger brother, who was in grade 1, got full days of school and I also wanted full days of school. Looking back on it now, I regret saying that!
  • I learned how to ride a bike

    I learned how to ride a bike
    I was 6 years old when I learned how to ride a bike. My older brother taught me during summer time. We would go riding often with the family and I got to practice my new found skill.
  • I learned how to swim

    I learned how to swim
    I was 6 years old when I learned how to swim. I had been in swimmimg lessons since I was a baby. Finally, when I was 6, I could go to swimmimg lessons and swim on my own.
  • My First Communion

    My First Communion
    I continued with my Holy Sacraments and received my First Communion in 2017. The only person I knew in my First Communion classes was a kid from my school. I felt very proud to continue in my Catholic faith and be able to finally receive the Eucharist.
  • I won gold in a soccer tournament in Calgary

    I won gold in a soccer tournament in Calgary
    It was the September long weekend before school and it was 2017. I was the youngest player on my team and I was playing up an age group. The gold medal match was tied and had to be determined with penatly shots. We went into penalties and won the game.
  • My grandma had cancer

    My grandma had cancer
    My grandma had breast cancer. After long treatment of chemo and radiation, she got to ring the victory bell. We were all very happy that she was able to stay strong and beat breast cancer.
  • I went indoor skydiving

    I went indoor skydiving
    In November 2018, I went to visit my family in Calgary and we decided to do something fun, so we chose indoor skydiving. The experience was exciting as I was able to try skydiving in a safe environment. The skydiving instructor stayed in the tunnel to help me on my first try.
  • I went to Italy

    I went to Italy
    In the summer of 2018, I visited Italy. I went to Naples, Rome, and Calabria. Most of my family is still in Italy so we had lots of visiting time and memories made with my family in Italy. One of the most exciting things that we experienced was to visit the Trevi Fountain.
  • Grade 6 grad

    Grade 6 grad
    This was 2020, June 18th when I had my Grad celebration. Luckily I was one of the people who got asked to make a speech. The celebration was online, but that was ok with my classmates and me! It felt amazing to finally wrap up my elementary school years and get ready for Junior High.
