    Attended my first Education Experience 203 class today, it was awesome! I cannot wait to learn under Mr. Brent Galloway - he is a true teacher and someone I already feel I can look up to and respect.
  • Paired with a Mentor Teacher

    This is so exciting! I have officially been paired with Ms. Carrie Waldo, a highschool teacher currently teaching Art at Hunting Hills High School. I am really looking forward to apprenticing under her instruction.
  • First In-School Observation

    Woke up bright and early for my first observation with Ms. Carrie Waldo, my Mentor. It was a blast, I was able observe her Grade 10 Art class and observe and interact with her Grade 20 Art class. I logged 2.15 hours today with my Mentor. My total time logged to date is 2.15 hours.

    Cloudy day, everyone seemed sleepy. Learned about stress-relieving one-day projects (clever way to keep students feeling confident, interested).

    Today I team taught the Grade 10 Art class - the lesson was entitled "Branches - Charcoal and Conte", it was a great success and I /loved/ it (so did the students)! I am now marking all of the pieces that they created today, a long - yet fun process. I logged 7.50 hours today with my Mentor. My total time logged to date is 39.15 hours.
