    General William Hull asked canadians to help against the British. He failed in asking, thus leading him to forcibly surrender at Detroit on July 16th.

    First severe and major battle in the war. It was fought between the New York militia forces and the Mohawks which fought for britain. Britain won this battle.

    The british troops tried to capture Fort Miegs with the help of Nastive Americans, but failed. Therefore, America won that battle.

    Canadian hero who is known for walking 20 miles to warn the British forces of an impending American attack.
  • Battle of Lake Erie

    Battle between the US and Britain. US won, and allowed the US to take control over Lake Erie for the remaining portion of the war.
  • Battle of the Thames

    British troops stationed in Detroit were deprived of supplies because America had control over Lake Erie. Therefore, they had to move, but instead were driven away by an opposing american force.

    Prevented the fall of Montreal against America successfully.

    America invaded the portion of land located near the Niagara River and successfully won.
