(nov 7,1811) harrison gathered 950 militia and marched to prophetstown(they arrived probably on the 6th of nov) for a conference the next day and harrison camped his troops near the village in a defencive formation and the next day indians attacked and tried to kill harrison but he did not die by them and in the end the indians suffered more loss
