    (nov 7,1811) harrison gathered 950 militia and marched to prophetstown(they arrived probably on the 6th of nov) for a conference the next day and harrison camped his troops near the village in a defencive formation and the next day indians attacked and tried to kill harrison but he did not die by them and in the end the indians suffered more loss
  • Fort Michilimackinac surrenders to the British

    (july 17,1812)the fort mackinac was taken by the british and was surrendered after the war but the americans were defeated

    (june 18,1812) president signed a declaration of war against britain starting the war of 1812

    (oct 13,1812)americans try to invade canada and isaac brock died and the battle proved that british and american armies were unprepared for war
  • Battle of River Raisin

    (jan 22,1813)many people died trying to take fort detroit and a ton of people(american) were killed and remember the raisin became a rallying cry to remember the conflict

    (April 28, 1813 – May 9, 1813) took place in ohio a small british army with indians tried to take fort meigs so that they had more protection for their fort in detroit but the british was defeated.
