Hoped that Britian and France would soon agree to stop violating American soon. Maddison was a quiet, Scholary man. Maddison helped with the Constitution and pass the bill of rights. Hoped to keppp U.S. out of war. He argued that U.S. should stand up to Indians and other countries. -
