    This Battle was between the Kindom of England and the Danes. The English were lead by Edmund Ironside and the Danes were lead by Cnut the Great. The English won the battle but, had severe losses, while the Danes had minimal losses.

    This battle was won by the English forces under the command of King Harold Godwinson. They defeated a Norweigian force under command of King Harald Hardrada. In some cases it is called the end of the Viking Age, but three weeks later King Harold Godwinson was killed by normans at Hastings.

The Vikings were lead by a unknown person not said in the resource I used. This was a victory for the Danelaw Vikings. The picutre is a renactment of the battle.
