Went To Trinidad for the 1st time
This event is important to me because I am fully Trinidadian and its a huge part of my life. Now I go to Triniadad once or twice a year since then. Being in touch with my culture is so important to me. -

On this day, the first African American was elected into office.This is important because I got to witness unforgettable history. -
8th Grade Gradutation
This is the day I graduated from Spring Wood Middle School. Its important to me because it meant I was finally going to high school and growing up. -
Got My Car
This is the day my sister gave me her first car. It was my mom's car before hers and its nice to have it passed down. Although I did not have my license yet, it symbolized a new freedom. -
9/11
This day the world trade center was attacked by terrorists, in result many people died. Because of this, airport security is far more strict and our country is at war. -
Moving:(
This is the day I found out that my family and I were going to move to Texas, this summer. I was nt at all happy about this move because I have always lived in the same house. I have never been the "new girl". I think it makes it worse that I won't be graduating with all my best friends since elementary school. Senior year will not be the same. -
Auntie Tremaine
I became an aunt to my niece Jordyn. Its so important because no one in my family ever has kids. She was the first one in about 10 years. Everyone is in love with her and she is a great addition to our familly.
