The worst disease to strike the world since the evolution of humans. The Black Death was a pandemic outbreak of the bacteria Yersinia Pestis. It originated in Europe and spread west along the silk road and trade ships to Europe. -

In the year 1440 Johannes Gutenberg invented a machine that could print pages using movable type. This invention sparked the start of an era with an abundance of printed material. -

Durer Creates the Painting Hare
Albrecht Durer created the painting Hare by using the mediums of watercolor paint on a canvas. This painting was created during the Renaissance. While many artists of this time were focused on creating pieces of art with religious themes or applying hidden meanings to their art, Durer had created his piece with none of this in mind he had created it to simply be a very detailed and accurate depiction of a hare. -

After being outraged by the Roman Catholic Church’s selling of indulgences Martin Luther documented 95 criticisms about the church and indulgences. This was the first time a person had openly defied the church and their practices. -

During this timespan Shakespeare starts creation of and finishes all three parts of Henry VI, all of these parts were created during this time but he did perform each part as soon as he was done. This play marked the beginning of Shakespeare's line of 38 world renowned play. -

Galileo created a 36.5-inch long refractor telescope with a glass lense. Although he was not the first person to create a telescope he was the first person to use it to observe planets. -
The Creation of The Anglican Church
In the 16th century, King Henry VIII created a new branch of Christianity. He wanted to divorce his wife and marry Catherine of Aragon. The church at the time forbade the act of divorce, so King Henry VIII’s response to that was to create a branch of Christianity that did allow this. Although King Henry VIII did this out of selfishness,Anglicanism is quite popular today.
