    Tom Robinson is shot attempting to escape from prison. He was as to be called a mocking bird in the book. Sad to see him go has he was a role model for Scout Finch.

    Ewell attacks Scout and Jem. Boo stabs Ewell and saves the kids. Scout sees Boo and escorts him home as the book ends with Atticus telling Scout a bedtime story.
