    The Scarlet Pimpernel saves the Comtesse and her two children from death by sneaking them out of France. The Scarlet Pimpernel was disguised as an old hag who had a little a boy who had the plague.

    The Parting and The Meeting
    Marguerite's brother Armand goes to France for a secret mission. After Marguerite says goodbye to her brother she meets an old friend, Chauvelin.
  • The Threat

    At a play, Chauvelin threatens Marguerite that unless she helps him discover the identity of the Scarlet Pimpernel then he will have her brother killed.
  • The Ball

    The Ball
    At Lord Grenville's Ball, Marguerite discovers that Sir Andrew will be meeting the elusive Scarlet Pimpernel in the supper room at 1 o'clock during the ball.

    Marguerite tells Chauvelin the information on the letter. Chauvelin goes to the supper room in an attempt to find the Scarlet Pimpernel, but he only finds Sir Percy Blakeney Marguerite's husband asleep on the couch.

    Sir Percy married Marguerite and at first they were happy, but then Percy learned of how Marguerite, accidentally, condemned a french aristocrat to death. Since then Percy and Marguerite have grown farther and farther apart. This all happened before the story even started. Once home from the ball though Marguerite tries to repair their broken trust. Percy in his heart still loves Marguerite, but hides his love from her.

    The beginning of the plan
    Percy leaves a note saying he's going up north because of urgent business. Armand is being held in France and Percy tells Marguerite that he is going to try and use his influence in court to get Armand out of France.
  • The Chase

    The Chase
    Marguerite convinces Sir Andrew to help her find Percy and warn him. Chauvelin is going after Percy because he has discovered The Scarlet Pimpernel's identity. Chauvelin doesn't know Marguerite was coming after them. Both of them are stuck in England because of a storm, but Percy is now in France.
  • The discovery

    The discovery
    After Percy leaves Marguerite finds a ring that belongs to Percy. The ring has the symbol of The Scarlet Pimpernel on it. Marguerite Then realizes that Percy is the Scarlet Pimpernel and that he is going to try and save Armand and Monsieur le Comte, who is also a refugee. So she goes after Percy to try and warn him
  • He's Back

    He's Back
    Marguerite and Sir Andrew make it to France, and so does Chauvelin. Marguerite goes to the inn that Percy was going to go to once he arrived in France. Marguerite hides up in the loft waiting for him and Sir Andrew goes looking for him. Chauvelin enters the inn. Marguerite overhears that there are soldiers looking for Percy.

    The Eagle and The Fox
    Chauvelin learns that Percy has taken a cart to the cliffs where Percy is to meet up with the refugees. Percy meets Chauvelin at the inn and realizes that Chauvelin is on to him. Percy then tricks Chauvelin into snuffing some pepper and when Chauvelin is having trouble breathing Percy escapes. A Jew then tells Chauvelin that he can take him to the cliffs in his cart.
  • The Pere Blanchard's Hut

    The Pere Blanchard's Hut
    Marguerite follows Chauvelin on foot. Marguerite tries to reach the hut first but falls and gets captured before she can warn Percy. They arrive at the hut, the refugees inside. Everyone is ordered to wait until Percy arrives. The Jew is tied up and on the ground.
  • The Phantom

    The Phantom
    They hear Percy's voice as he nears the hut and Marguerite screams to try and warn him to not come any closer. The soldiers with Chauvelin then storm the hut, but no one is inside. They found a paper on the floor that had told the refugees to flee to a creek near Chat Gris. The refugees have already escaped to the "Day Dream," Percy's yacht.
  • The Final Trick

    The Final Trick
    Chauvelin beats the Jew because he didn't catch up to Percy in time. Marguerite is very weak from having not slept for a long time so Chauvelin leaves the Jew and Marguerite there while they go to Chat Gris to catch Percy. After they have completely gone. The Jew starts talking and Marguerite discovers that the Jew is Actually Percy!!
  • The End

    The End
    Sir Andrew comes to help Percy after Chauvelin leaves and Percy Carries Marguerite to the "Day Dream," because she is too weary to walk and he loves her and has forgiven her, and she loves him with all her heart. Percy, Marguerite, and the Refugees escape to England, and Percy has Chauvelin taken care of aka people never see him again.
