    Christopher Columbus

    Born In Italy, but sailed for Spain.Wanted a three ship voyage of discovery, but was denied three times. Isabella of Castille and Ferdinand of Aragon finally approved his quest. He then discovered the "New World", in his many voyages.

    Started with the marriage of Catholic royals Isabella and Ferdinand, which united the kingdoms of Aragon and Castille. WHo approved the voyages of Christopher Columbus. Led to many riches for Spain.

    With a Navigator and a Priest Prancisco discovered the Spanish Ocean. 3 years later conquered Peru and gained commision for Spain.

    Louis was 4 and half years old when his father the king of France passed away, he was left to rule. Due to the fact he was only 4 Cardinal Richelieu took over as ruler until he was 18. He was tutored by his godfather, and cheif financial advisor, Jean-Baptiste Colbert. When he took over rule he reformed the country, and gained publicity. He also created the great palace of Versailles.His decline was due to him paying attention to his personal interest instead of his people.

    Charles I vs Parliament. The first phase was a win for Charles in which he dissolved Parliament for 11 years. The second phase was a defeat for Charles and he was beheaded. His son Charles II formed an army of English and Scottish royalist. Which propted Oliver Cromwell to shatter the remaining Royalist. forces and ended the, "Wars of Three Kingdoms".

    Was the Tsar of Russia. Westernized Russia, he wanted to be more like Western Europe, relocted the capital to St. Petersburg. Took control of taxes and Church. Created the Russian Orthodox church.
