Welcome to America
We were pushed out of our country Scandanavia because of harsh winters and poverty. We were pulled imto America for jobs and good life. We have now arrived in America and life is a lot different. -
Jobless and Homeless
I could not find a job and can not afford any food or water for my family and we thought of moving west becaused we were discriminated here in the big cities. -
Got a Job
I was pull into working on the railroad because it was a way to move west and a way to earn some money. It does not cost us to go on the train because I am working for them so I thought this was a great job. -
Chance of Land
I saw a sign advertising the Homestead act and i thought that things might be comming together. I will try to win some land in a race as soon as I can. I was signed up and ready to race. -
Free land
I won 160 acres of free land with loto build ts of trees and other recources a house and a small farm to support my family. -
Got a house now
I have succesfully created a farm to provide for my family, but I still want to fish for a living like I used to. I still have some trees left on my property and i started making a boat for fishing. -
Time to Fish
I finished my own fishing boat and now I am going to try to start a fishing buisness out of the river that leads to a bay full of salmon.
