    The war of 1812 had started when great Britain and the French where at war in Europe. Americans sent over ships to Europe while great Britain's navy was gaurding over Frances water with a blockade of many navy ships. The Americans knew nothing of the blockade with is due with hundreds of american sailors captured by great Britain's navy, forced to work on them. A true outrage for the americans, for them to declare war against great britain and to invade the British colony of Canada.

A British force under major general Issac Brock with native Indians controlled by their fierce leader, tecumseh, used a bluff and deseption to scare the Americans and brigadier general William hull for surrendering the town and fort of detriot. The great victory for the British force was highly depended on the Americans fear of the Indians and major general Issac Brock's strong leadership.

After countless attempts in convincing the general, he finally to make a stand. Americans won and Tecumseh was killed.

The Americans have failed to invade lower Canada.

After the British retreated, they had many casualties because the after math of the battle. They lost 11,000 soldiers, sailors and marines. The Americans hadn't lost too much only 4732 soldiers.e

After numerous attempts to talk Proctor to making a stand, he finally agreed. The Americans won this battle and Tecumseh was killed. The natives dream of having a separate territory was lost.
