    The Battle of Horseshoe Bend was fought in the city of Alabama in Georgia. On March 27th, at 10:30 A.M. Andrew Jackson began the Battle of Horseshoe Bend, firing two cannon's for two hours. Jackson ordered a charge at Red Sticks. The infantry was led by colonel John Williams. 927 people were killed and 232 were wounded which ended the Battle of Horseshoe Bend.

    On August 24th, 1814, Washington, D.C. was attacked by Birtish soldiers. The British soldiers caused a lot of damage. The soldiers burned many public buildings such as the White House and the U.S Capitol. The soldiers burned the presidents house and added fuel to the fire later that night to keep the fire going until it was gone.
