    The Roman Enpire Fell due to the lack of enforced law on the people, barbarian groups had also enroached behond the empires borders. These barbarians took advantage of the problems already existing in Rome, for example the overpopulation, decaying city and poor leadership and defense systems.

    The First Crusade is decreed

    The First Crusade was the battle bewteen the Muslims and the Christians. They had similiar beliefs and motives as they were both fighting each other for the Holy Land of God.
  • Magna Carta is signed

    Magna Carta is signed

    The Magna Carta is a document ensuring English political liberties and laws. Signed on 15 June by King John, Magna Carta was meant as a peace treaty between King John and his subjects, and demanded that every person had to obey the law, including the king.

    The Great Famine

    The Great Famine, or the Irish Potato Famine, occurred in Ireland when the very successful crops failed. This was due to the late blight, a disease which destroys the leaves and roots of the potato. This disease caused the people of Ireland to suffer from starvation.

    The Black Death, also known as the Black Plague, is one of the most signifecant events in the world. People have thought to believe that over 50 million people died from this event. The Black Death was caused by rats which had brought the plague onto the sailors on a ship, which quickly spread.
