The Declaration of Independence is one of the most famous documents in the world and is considered one of the most important documents in American history. The date of its adoption by the Continential Congress of the 13 American colonies, 4 of July is no a holiday in the USA-Independence Day. -
The War of Indipendance
When the military governor tried to seize American weapons, military clashes broke out between the resisting Americans and the British army. The American response led to a declaration of independence on July 4th 1776, which announce the formation of the United States of America. There was a state of war until 1783. Storming of the Bastille
As popular discontent simmered, a French mob moved against the Parisian prison of the Bastille. This event more than any other, became the symbolic flashpoint of the French revolution. Although the bastille only contained several prisoners at the time, it represented royal power and the ancient regime-the old system of government. More importantly, the bastille contained a large store of explosives. The date of the fall of the Bastille is still a public holiday in France. -
The Regin Terror
In a 1791 constitution, it was propose that France would be run by consittional monarchy with the assembly limiting the King's powers. This arrangment caused paralysis of th government , and the following year the monarchy was abolished.
