    Napoleon's French army in Egypt. Napoleon's tactic called massive divisional square was used. This formed a rectangle around the enemy.

    This decvlaration was the fundamental document of The French Revolution. It defined the individual and collective rights. These were natural and legal rights, human rights.

    Dr Guillotin was a French doctor who proposed the death penalty. He suggested capital punishment by guillotine. He did not invent the guillotine.

    Marie Antoinette was executed by guillotine. She was the Queen of France. She was impeached and convicted for treachery against France.

    French Convention adopted the Goddess of Reason or Wisdom. A woman named Sophie Momoro became the person used to represnt the goddess. She was the wife of a politician during the French Revolution. This celebration was held at the cathedral Notre Dame.

    Napoleon in Italy. Lodi is present day Italy. French and Austrian forces battled. Napoleon defeated the Austrian Army who had time to retreat.

    Napoleon's battle of river Trebbia in northern Italy. Russian and Austrian troops joined forces against the French. Napoleon was defeated.
  • Constitution of the Year VIII

    Constitution of the Year VIII
    Formed a government of consulate. This gave all power to Napoleon. Ended the French Revolution.
