The meeting of the Esates-general was the first time that all three Esates had met since 1641. The meeting was called by King Louis XVI of France. The purpose of this event was to figure out solutions to Frace's financial turmoil.

On August 26, 1789, France's Constituent Assembly passed the Declaration of the Rights of man and of the Citizen. This declaration made it so that men of all Estates would be cosidered as equals.

Robepierre and his allies are charged by the Convention for crimes against the Republic on June 27, 1974. Him and his group are accused, condemned, and then guillotined between the 27th and the 28th.

On August 22, 1795, The Constitution of the Year III is approved. This constitution states that voting priviledges are given to those who pay taxes, provides a council of 500, and all administrative power is given to a group of five people.

On December 15, 1799, The Constitution of the Year VIII was brought in. This was the fourth French Constitution since 1791. It is declared that the Revolution is now over.
