  • Bad Support

    While France were in terrible conditions with crops, economy, taxes and leadership, regardless, King Louis 16th decided to help the American colonists in their independence fight against the Englishmen.
  • The national assembley

    The state generals gathered to have something to be able to design and make new concepts of things and rules to establish a better country.
  • Tennis Court Oath

    The delegates from the 3rd estate as well as the clergyman and the nobles came together because they wanted to make a new constitution and since they had nowhere to make it they made it in a tennis court near by and called it the "Tennis Court Oath"
  • The mob

    The people didn't want monarchy anymore so they decided to "mob" or attack the Bastille Prison. They decided to attack it because the place was a symbol of monarchy for the people.
  • Feudal system

    The National Assembly decided to come together in an agreement that they didn't want the feudal system anymore so they canceled it. With this happening, the debts from peasants to kings or lords were canceled
  • Everyone is equal

    Based on thoughts of enlightenment thinkers such as Thomas Jefferson, The National Assembly decides to make the "Declaration of Rights of Man and Citizen". This meant that people are all equal and are protected by the law equally.
  • The Great Fear

    Since the crops started to get worst and there was less food, it went very expensive. With this going on, women started to protest and had a riot. They marched all the way to the Versailles Palace to bring the king and queen back to see how wrong the place is. They called this "The Great Fear".
  • Flee

    The King and Queen were scared that something might happen to them because of the madness of the people so they tried to escape France. They were in the border were they got caught and were brought back under security authority.
  • Legislative Assembly

    The National Assembly once again came together and decided to make a limited constitutional monarchy. Even though he wasn't very convinced, King Louis 16th had to sign the "Legislative Assembly"
  • King Louis 16th death

    King Louis 16th was now a common citizen. Louis was accused of betrayal and corruption against his own county. With this in a trial he got decapitated by the people.
