The flow of blood through the heart!

  • From the right side of the body blood travels from the Superior/Inferior Vena Cava

From the right side of the body blood travels from the Superior/Inferior Vena Cava
  • After leaving the Vena Cava blood travels to the Right Atrium

  • Leaving the Right Atrium blood travels to the Tricuspid Valve

  • Leaves the Tricuspid Valve and enters the Right Ventricle

  • Follwed by the Right Ventricle, blood then flows to the Pulmonary Vein, to the Pulmonary Artery to the Lungs

  • After the blood flows to the lungs it then enters the Pulmonary vein again, to the Left Atrium

  • After the Left Atrium, blood flows to the Bicuspid known as the Mitral Valve

  • Blood then flows to the Left Ventricle

  • Through the Left Ventricle, blood then flows through the Aortic Valve

  • Blood then flows to the Aorta, ending back to the Body!
