Blood then flows through the tricuspid valve into the right ventricle

The blood then goes out of the right ventricle through the pulmonary valve and into the pulmonary artery to travel to the lucgs.

The pulmonary vein then carries the oxygenated blood back into the heart from the lungs. The blood enters the heart into the left atrium.
