The Battle of Dorylaeum was a battle that nearly ended badly for the Crusaders. The Crusade was crossing the interior of Anatolia when Turkish Archers ambushed them. The Crusaders met a Turkish fighting force and they were forced back into their camp. When the end seemed near, Duke Godfrey arrived with backup, doing great damage, he pushed the Turks back causing them to flee and allowing the Crusaders to capture the area and win the battle.
