    My BlogWith the use of Blogger, it enabled me to track my progress of my product with evidence in a organised way. I found it easy to use as i was able to lay out my blog to my preference. It is easy to use and very helpful to organise my progress. Blogger has been a great way to show how the techniques that i've learnt throughout the creation of my products as i could post all research and planning and access it easily.

  • Use of Cameras and Tripods

    Use of Cameras and Tripods
    Throughout this whole unit we had to use cameras and tripods to record our sequence. To get used to using cameras and tripods to get steady footage I recorded premilinary task. This helped me get used to using tripods for shots also figure out the different ways to use the camera and how to use it. Filming equipment is an important element to the whole project so it was important we got used to using them, we created match on action, 180 degree rule tasks aswell. This helped in filming.

    After filming, we were required to edit footage. Before filming our main sequence we recorded small tasks and edited them using final cut pro. Having never used it before i found it rather difficult compared to IMovie which i have used, but because of practice and help from teachers helped me get used to using the editing software. I edited the preliminary task evaluation.

    The project required me to create my very own youtube channel so the public could view and access my work. I never used it to upload before but found it very useful as it helped embed onto Blogger and allowed my peers to view my work.

    Vine allowed me to create short 6 second clips with my partner to portray our Horror genre research in a fun creative way. It was easy to use from an Iphone Vine App and easy to upload however 6 seconds a clip meant short clips.

    Glogster was a new way for me to display my horror genre research creatively, with this i was able to create a interactive poster of a horror genre director and make it creative. It was easy to use.

    Kizoa was used by my partner to create a creative,unique powerpoint of our horror genre research it was quite easy to use and displayed findings in a fun enjoyable way.

    Survey Monkey was used to create a survey to find our base target audience and horror sub-genre of our opening sequence. it was easy to use and very helpful as the results were clear.

    Slideshare for me was a very helpful and very easy way in uploading word documents and powerpoints to help embed onto blog and share information with others.

    We used padlet to gain audience feedback of our draft film treatment which was very important as it helped us learn what audience liked and disliked so we could amend the film treatment. It was easy to use and a creative way to recieve response from our target audience to better our treatment.

    Stupeflix was a creative way to create powerpoints as videos or even videos of pictures, i used this to display costume lists and other evaluation. It was easy to use and a creative way to make videos or share pictures.

    Imgur is a simple image sharing website which i found easy to use, it enabled me to share pictures of storyboard and share it with my partner quickly and easily.

    Prezis is a helpful powerpoint creating website whic enables me to create animated powerpoints with different types of templates to show research in creative fun ways.

    Sound and Voice recording was easy to record with this equipment, it made the sound of dialogue easier to hear when using to record.
