    In 1821- 188 the Turko Egyptian rule of Sudan ICC declares Genocide in Sudan. It led by Muhammad ‘Ali, and many Sudanese people were forced to leave Sudan to go to Egypt and many are die during the trip.

    In 1969 Nimeiri becomes president in Sudan. He took over the previously democratic government, and he still being the president until 1983 by ran unopposed, but one thing that he did good is he end of the civil wars that had been ongoing since Sudan’s independence in 1956.

  • South Sudan became independent

    South Sudan became independent
    In 9 July 2011 South Sudan became independent. In the January 2011 referendum resulted in a clear vote by the people of Southern Sudan for separation. After South Sudan became independent the RSS was admitted as the 193rd member state of the United Nations on 14 July 2011. Source
