    On October 22nd, 1454, Gutenberg printed the first Bible. The first Bible was printed in Mainz, or present day Germany.

    Leonardo started painting the Mona Lisa in 1503. Although the Louvre says Leonardo started painting in 1504 or 1505. There is a lot of speculation of when the Mona Lisa was started.

    Martin Luther Posted 95 Theses On the Door of Castle Church.

    Acting on his belief, he wrote "Disputation on the Power and Efficacy of Indulgences," He wrote the 95 Thesis, a list of questions and propositions for debate. Popular legend has it that on October 31, 1517 Luther defiantly nailed a copy of his 95 Theses to the door of the Wittenberg Castle church.

    The Prince is an extended analysis of how to acquire and maintain political power. It includes 26 chapters and an opening dedication to Lorenzo de Medici. The dedication declares Machiavelli's intention to discuss in plain language the conduct of great men and the principles of princely government.

    The Jesuit movement was founded by Ignatius de Loyola, a Spanish soldier turned priest, in August 1534. The first Jesuits–Ignatius and six of his students–took vows of poverty and chastity and made plans to work for the conversion of Muslims.
