    The black death was a horrible disease that happened on 1346–53 and was carried out by rats and fleas. The Flea lands on the rats which carries a deadly disease and then the flea flies and vomits the rat blood into our system. That is what causing the black death. The black death killed more than one-third of the European population and many European people believed only God's anger could produce horrific punishments.

This even is important because it allowed german princes to freely choose between Lutheranism or Catholicism in the area that they controlled.

After the meeting 16 documents came out of it and shaped the church into what we see today.
