    Martin Luther's publication of the 95 Theses was about the corruption of the church and how they had told people if they had payed the church they would go to heaven and they would be forgiven for their sins. Martin Luther had seen this a something that was wrong and he fought against it by writing a document to justify that what they where doing was wrong.

The reason for this meeting was because there was controversy about if Jesus had the full human nature in him, more than 500 bishops had attended this meeting, this was the largest council gathering of it's time.

    Peace of Augsburg
    The Peace of Augsburg was the first permanent legal basis for the coexistence of Lutheranism and Catholicism in Germany. The Peace of Augsburg also referred to The Augsburg Settlement allowed the state princes to select either Lutheranism or Catholicism as their religion. Due to this the legislation officially ended up creating conflict between the two religions.
