Question 4 - How does the media technologies help the construction, research, planning and evaluation stages?

Timetoast
In the beginning of the unit, I had used time toast to schedule the tasks throughout the year. I had used this technology last year which was very simple and easy to use. -

Blogger
I used blogger to upload all my tasks to show my developments and research in construction of my work. This was easy to use as I have knowledge of blogger from last year also this allowed me to embed all the other technologies I have used. -
Prezi
My group and I had used prezi for our treatment in which we had I improved it from the original and added clear and more detail of our initial ideas for the music video. This helped present our ideas professionably. -
Whatsapp
My group and I decided to use Whatsapp in a group chat for our group meeting. We uploaded screenshots of our group chats to show the development of our ideas we had discussed. This then helped the discussion of our group work keep constant. -
YouTube
My group and I had used YouTube to upload us having the induction with the DSLR camera, in the beginning stages of filming we had looked back on this video to be more aware of the camera and its tools. This had helped us gain more knowledge of the camera to film a good piece . -

Photography
My group and I had used a DSLR camera to take images fro our CD cover and advert. This is the same camera in which we had used last year in which we were able to use well. Although we were also given an induction which had helped with us receiving more knowledge of the camera and how to use it. -

Final Cut Pro
My group and I had used Final Cut Pro in the process of editing our music video. As it was the first time for my group and I to be using this software we learned by day on how to use it. With this our video had the effects of cross fading. -
Moodle
My group and I had used Moodle to book in for the use of camera whenever we wanted to film for the video. This had helped as it saved us time to get an equipment form template . -
YouTube
my group and I used YouTube to upload our rough cut screening in which we then put uploaded to blogger to evaluate the feedback we had received. -

My group used YouTube to upload our music video to the public. We then simply uploaded the video onto blogger to allow access to other students to watch and give us final feedback. -
Google Images
With Google, I was finishing images of different CD covers. From the research this gave inspiration of the construction of my print product from case studies of real cd covers and digit packs. I found Google simple and easy for my research. -
Prezi
I had used prezi to layout all my research and case studies for my CD. Instead of PowerPoint, prezi allowed my case studies to look more interactive and unique. -

Photoshop
I had used photoshop for the creation of my print product. As I have used photoshop last year for my music magazine I found it easy this time again to use. However this year, I have increased my skills in adding effects such as drop shadows and creation of text. This helped my work look professional. -
Illustrator
I had used Adobe illustrator to create the letter 'B' for the front cover as the artist logo. I have used illustrator for the magazine in which made me find manipulating the letter 'B' easy. This helped my groups print product look different and professional. -
Prezi
I had use Prezi for question 2 &3 for the evaluation. This allowed to upload pictures of my music video and print products. I had used this software in my evaluation last year in which I still find easy and simple to use. -
Slide share
I had used this to evaluate for question 1. This had allowed use present professionally and as I used this last year I feel more well in using this before as it was new to me to use. -
Time toast
I have used time toast for question 4 of the evaluation. This allows my evaluation to show in time what technologies I have use in the construction of my work and research and planning. This has been very easy to use as I have used this last year to keep on time with my work.
