    the Main Purpose of the article was to give us background information as to what type of person Pope Francis is. The authors pespective that he is trying to show is that Pope francis has a series of bad events but he still tries to conect with the catholic crowd

    Jorge Bergolio, Chose to be named Pope Fancis because he wanted to Honor St. Francis of Assisi, an admirer of nature and a sevant to the poor.

    Based on the explanation as to why he chose to be named Pope Francis, i believe that He has the type of personality who will focus more on reaching out to the people to help them grow in their faith.

    There have been other popes from Syria,Jerusalem,Bethlehem in the past. But The majority of the popes in modern times have been Italian.

    He's a normal Person. He chose to live in an apartment instead of the Archbishop's Palace. He takes Public Transportation in stead of a limousine. He broke tradition by telling the People to Pray for him before he gave his first blessing.

    PopeFrancis is against same-sex marriage and abortion, which is not surprising since the catholic church is also against it. He was accused of a two liberal jesuit priest kidnapping.

    He will have to find new ways to change he viewpoints in catholics. and have to find more ways on shifting the viewpoint of non-catholics.
