During the night of Aug. 4, 1789 noblemen made speeches, while speaking of their love for freedom and equality. They joined other members of the National Assembly, so by the next morning the Old Regime was dead.

The Declaration of the Rights of Man was passed by the National Assembly. The nobles pronounced the slogan of the French Revolution all day, liberty, equality, and fraternity.

Women go to Versailles and protest over the increment in bread prices. The women kill guards and seize the castle while barging in with knives, axes, and other weapons.

All hereditary titles are removed, automatically removing “born into loyalty”. The Jacobin club grows, priests and officials are required to sign a loyalty oath to the new French nation.

The royal family attempt to escape France from the Australian Netherlands. But near the border they were caught and sent back to paris, and because of those actions Louis XVI gained even more enemies.

The National Assembly complete the new constitution that Louis XVI signed. The constitution practically made the king powerless and created and new legislative body which had the power to approve or reject declarations of war.

The French declared war against Austria and Prussia because they demanded France to give back King louis’ powers and return to an absolute monarchy.

The National Convention took office and abolished the monarchy and declared France a republic.
